ACER is seeking candidates with 0 to 5 years of experience to work in the field at construction sites to perform inspections and testing during earthwork, concrete placement, masonry work and asphalt paving.  A bachelor's degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline is helpful.

Geotechnical Technician:

ACER is seeking candidates with 0 to 5 years of experience to conduct geotechnical field investigations.  The position entails overseeing drillers and collecting field data for geotechnical investigations, storm water infiltration studies.  Collection of field data will include characterization and sampling of soils and rock and groundwater.  Preparation of geotechnical engineering and construction inspection reports will require proficient report writing skills.  A bachelor's degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline is helpful.

Geophysical/NDT Technician:

ACER is seeking candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience to conduct geophysical field investigations, utility locating, underground storage tank locating, sinkhole evaluations and a variety of geophysical and non-destructive testing (NDT) services.  Experience with ground penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic utility locators is required. Candidate should have experience with mapping and Microsoft Office software.  A bachelor's degree is preferred
